NO WORK WILL BEGIN WITHOUT A DEPOSIT
A minimum deposit of 50% is required at time mount is received. Due to the extent of work already invested in preparation, deposits are non-refundable. Any item in our possession without a deposit after 30 days becomes the property of Mountain River Taxidermy and may be sold, mounted or disposed of without notification or compensation to the customer. Work cancellation fee is $20.00 in addition to any other costs already incurred.
All specimens must be legally taken. We are not responsible for loss or damage in tanning or transit. We are not responsible for losses due to fire, theft, vandalism, natural disasters or mechanical failures.
Compensation will be limited to insurance coverage. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes and substitutions in order to complete your mount. If this results in additional charges, we will notify you prior to making any changes.
Upon completion - The full balance is due within 30 days. If the balance has not been paid after 30 days, you will be charged $20.00 per month for storage. After 90 days, your account will be turned over to a collection agency. Any additional collection cost including attorney & court fees, etc. will be added to your bill. No item leaves until all charges are paid in full. Please note that due to the many factors that affect our work, any completion date you may have been given is approximate. Every effort is made to preserve all raw trophies. Outside of our control, we may receive skins that were mishandled in the field. Since these and many factors may affect our work, all work is done at the clients risk.
